ShareMedical and 346 Joint Team Advances to Final Pitch Event of Mitsubishi Corporation Accelerator Program

We are pleased to announce that ShareMedical Inc. and 346 Inc. Joint Team have been selected as finalists for the accelerator program sponsored by the Social Infrastructure Group of Mitsubishi Corporation (until last year, Urban Complex Development Group, "Mitsubishi Corporation") and invited to the pitch event.

The Mitsubishi Corporation Accelerator Program is an open innovation initiative that aims to collaborate with startups with innovative ideas to enhance urban value through urban management businesses. The program attracted a large number of applications and, through a rigorous selection process, identified companies with high potential for collaboration. The Joint Team was selected as one of these companies and invited to the final pitch event, where they will present their proposal to Mitsubishi Corporation executives.

The Joint Team proposed a revolutionary urban medical solution utilizing their “Medical Pod” and “Smart Medical Station.” This service will establish booth-type clinics in offices and commercial facilities, enabling online consultations with doctors in remote locations. This aims to address various medical challenges in urban areas, such as reducing the burden on local medical institutions, improving access to medical care for urban residents during off-hours and in medically underserved areas, preventing chronic diseases and lifestyle-related illnesses, providing medical services for inbound tourists, and strengthening the medical response system in the event of disasters.

By exploring collaboration opportunities with Mitsubishi Corporation, the Joint Team aims to accelerate the implementation of medical services in urban development projects and provide high-quality medical care to more people. Additionally, through participation in this program, they will further promote business expansion both domestically and internationally.
